. . .
I take great pride in my photographs, but even more than that, I am proud of the experience I offer to each client who books a session with me. My clients are awesome people that usually become friends, and it’s very important to me to be sure that you have the best possible experience with your portrait session. This experience begins with a pre-session consultation, which typically takes place in your home. I will come to you to discuss your ideas and hopes for your portrait session, and we will talk about options for wall art based on your space and style. We will talk about the location and style of your portraits and get your session on the books. This is also the perfect opportunity for me to meet your children prior to our session, so that they are more comfortable with me during the session itself. If it’s not easy to meet in person prior to the session, we can discuss your options and vision for your session over the phone or using Skype.
During your custom photography session, I will work to get about 30 unique images, and we won’t leave until I am satisfied with what I’ve captured. The typical session lasts around an hour to an hour and a half, but I don’t schedule more than one portrait session in a day (with the exception of mini sessions) so we won’t be in a rush to capture beautiful images.
Within two weeks after your session, we will meet in your home (or at a local coffee shop, if you prefer) for your viewing and ordering appointment. This will be the first time you see the images I captured during your session, and this is when you will have the opportunity to decide what wall art and products you’d like to invest in. Products come in within 3-4 weeks, and while you’re waiting for them, your session will be featured on my blog. Keep an eye on the Facebook page, though, because I may even give a sneak peek before your viewing and ordering appointment!
When you’re booking a session, you’ll receive an e-copy of our client guide to your session. There, you’ll find more information on custom portraiture, and tips from choosing a location for your session to selecting wall art collections for your home, plus much more.
