Kayla and Jason’s gorgeous engagement session had me so excited to photograph their wedding day! The ceremony and reception were both held at The Hayloft in Rockwood, PA, which is one of my very favorite venues.

Speaking of favorites, this is probably my favorite dress shot I’ve ever captured, too 😉 The bride’s gorgeous gown was a Justin Alexander from MB Bride.

These miniature wedding cake favors were so cute, and something I’ve never seen in 6 years photographing weddings!

Bella Christie did an incredible job with the desserts. They were beautiful and delicious!

Now this is a fun story 🙂 Back when I first met with these two for a consultation, before they even booked, they were talking about the possibility of doing a fireworks display at the end of the evening. The idea was nixed (Jason had told Kayla they couldn’t stretch the budget for it!), and I got a text from Jason at almost midnight the night before the wedding 🙂 Fireworks were on, and they were going to be a surprise for Kayla! This was so sweet and exciting – but I didn’t even know HOW exciting it would be until I saw Kayla’s reaction. I told Jason he must have felt like the best surprise-giver in the whole wide world.

Kayla was like a kid on Christmas morning, and I’ve never seen someone so happy 🙂
