It was quite an exciting week for Leah and John! First, they became doctors – then they became Mr. and Mrs.

This couple selected one of Pittsburgh’s finest venues, The Omni William Penn, for their classic Jewish wedding, and the day was absolutely beautiful!

An emotional first look with Leah’s dad had me tearing up just an hour into coverage time.

This may have been one of my favorite parts of the wedding day – this family bible has been carried by many brides in John’s family, dating back into the 1940s. I love family heirlooms, and the inscriptions made this even better. His grandmother had rebound the book for his bride to carry down the aisle.

What a gorgeous setting for a first look!

We had a little bit of rain, but if it hadn’t been for that, I wouldn’t have captured one of my favorite bridal party portraits to date inside the Omni.

Our luck continued as the rain stopped for the Dr. and Dr.’s intimate couple’s portraits, so we headed outside with lovely Pittsburgh as a background.

Following the couple’s portraits, they held an beautiful and meaningful ceremony in the Grand Ballroom including a chuppah and the breaking of the glass – which led to shouts of “mazel tov!” from the guests!

Then it was off to the reception, which was decorated radiantly in shades of purple, which paired perfectly with the Omni’s already lavish chandelier and furnishings.
