Alyssa prepared for her wedding day at her childhood home, surrounded by her sweet family.

Her groom awaited her at St. Bernard Church in Mount Lebanon, and the reception followed at Southpointe Golf Club in Canonsburg.

Due to some fortunate Friday afternoon traffic, the timeline shifted a bit to allow us *more* time for bride and groom portraits – my favorite part of the day! I just LOVE the joy on their faces in these!! The lovely and talented Chrissy of Weddings by Sal & Bella joined us for a few hours to help out with some reception space images – she’s the best! One of my favorite parts of every wedding day is the toasts. I love getting to know my clients throughout their initial consult, to their engagement session, to the pre-wedding timeline meeting, but you learn so much about a couple when their loved ones stand up to say a few words about how they impact the lives of others around them. You can almost always find happy tears running down my cheeks as I hide behind my camera during these moments 🙂 After a pretty hefty rainstorm, the skies cleared for an AMAZING sunset, and I’m so glad I got to sneak these two out for a few more portraits!
