Ashley & Joe had an absolutely beautiful summer wedding day! I couldn’t have been happier to witness this wonderful lady join her life with a man who makes her so happy! Ashley and I went to high school together, and though I was a couple of years ahead of her, we became good friends through tennis, and her wedding was an extra special one for me to document!

We started off for some quick bride prep coverage at the couple’s beautiful new home, and headed straight to the Aviary for Ashley to get into her gown!

The couple opted for a First Look, and we were able to photograph all of their portraits prior to their beautiful outdoor ceremony.

The bride and groom chose a subtle travel theme for their reception, and the decor was simple and classic – this space looked just beautiful!

The cocktail hour was held inside of the Aviary’s atrium, with a surprise visit from DJ the penguin for a photo op with the couple!

This tented reception was so much fun! I loved watching these two interact – Joe brought Ashley’s hand up to kiss more times that day than I could count – they’re the absolute sweetest!

Congratulations to the newlyweds! I’m so thrilled for you both!
